Motivational Voice Offers Biddulph High Students A Pre-Exam Boost
Students at Biddulph High School attended a motivational workshop as they gear up for A and AS Level examinations later this year.
Leading motivational speakers David Hyner and Lynn Grocott met up with Upper and Lower Sixth Form students at the school to deliver an inspirational day of activity, focused on encouraging the youngsters to work hard for a brighter future.
The event was sponsored by J & S Seddon Building, which has its headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent and has undertaken a range of building projects at the school in recent years.
J & S Seddon Building operates throughout Staffordshire and Cheshire is involved in community initiatives with many schools across the area.
Each year the company trains over a hundred people – many from North Staffordshire – in a construction-related trade, through its apprenticeship programme, as well as generating other professional career opportunities in the industry.
Mike Gabriel, J & S Seddon Building spokesman, said: “It was a very inspiring day and the timing for the students was excellent as they prepare for important exams this Summer. It was good to be able to support the school with this event.”
