Long before moves towards Partnering were introduced, J & S Seddon (Building) had identified the need for everybody involved to work more closely together in order to be more effective and establish a more stable basis for cost reductions.

Therefore, the move by J & S Seddon (Building) into formal "Partnering/Best Value" arrangements represents a natural progression of our business philosophy.

Over the years we have maintained long-term relationships with our clients and worked on a basis of trust, integrity and honesty.

We believe this situation provides the best basis for a more efficient process.

It is this approach, coupled with our commitment to quality, customer care and training, which has brought us success in Partnering.

This success has realised partnering projects totalling over £50m in recent years, particularly in the public sector with such contracts as £16m refurbishment of student accommodation at Keele University, a £27m project with Staffordshire County Council for maintenance and minor capital works to their civic and educational buildings and a £2.7m partnership with Bromsgrove District Council for a manor new arts centre and alterations to an existing leisure complex.
